The 7^th summer crop production report released by the CEC showed the South African maize production forecasts increase by 101,000t to 7.26mil t and vs market expectation of 7.2mil t.  White maize production was left unchanged whilst yellow maize production was increased by 2.49%.  Below is a line graph portraying the 2016 crop year, in red, vs the previous 7yr’s.
